Experience

Musabbir has extensive entrepreneurial and management experience as co-founder and principal of a number of start-up ventures specializing in management consulting, educational technology, e-commerce and new media production. Currently he serves as the Project Director of Niagara College’s Productivity and Innovation Lab (Pi-Lab), and he leads the business consulting and development of training programs for SMEs to improve productivity.

Previously, Musabbir was Vice President of Portage College in Alberta, where he worked closely with the Alberta Ministry of Advanced Education and the Board of the College to provide academic and technology leadership across Northeastern Alberta. He has also held positions at Assiniboine College in Manitoba, including Manager, Enterprise International; Professor, Information Technology; and Senior Researcher at the Office of Applied Research & Innovation.

Musabbir received his Bachelor’s and Master’s in Aerospace Engineering from National Aviation University in the Ukraine, holds a Post-Graduate Diploma in Interactive Multimedia from Sheridan College in Ontario, Ph.D. in Educational Technology from Walden University in Minneapolis, and MBA from the Ivey Business School of Western University in London, Ontario. Musabbir also attended INSEAD, MIT Sloan, Cornell University, and Villanova University for professional development. Musabbir is the author of ‘Four Pillars of Productivity’ (4PoP) framework. He lives in the Greater Toronto Area. In his spare time, Musabbir enjoys travelling, oil painting, reading, flying, wine making, and spending time with family and friends.
